Our annual spring plant sale is one of the first fundraisers of the year. Ordering takes place between February - April and we aim for Mother's Day weekend delivery.

It's a great time to raise money for the Vancouver Island Down Syndrome Society. With a splash of colour these plants will be sure to liven up any space!

We want to invite everyone to wear lots of bright and colourful socks on 21 March to raise awareness on World Down Syndrome Day and get people talking about it.
​
Join families from around the world help raise awareness of what Down Syndrome is, what it means to have Down Syndrome, and how people with Down Syndrome play a vital role in our lives and our communities.
​
Send us pictures of your funky socks!
Our third annual family picnic and awareness walk was on June 17th, 2023.
​
The event will take place at Westwood Lake in Nanaimo between 10:30am and 2pm.
​
This is an island wide event, please spread the word and lets get together as a community.
Now you can donate your empty beverage containers with ease!
​
Simply drop off at the nearest Return-It Depot with an Express Kiosk, login with our number and voila! you've donated your empties.

Our baby and toddler group meets casually whenever Covid restrictions are lifted or eased. Please email us at info@vidownsyndrome.ca to find out when our next "socially distanced" gathering will be.
