​An island wide event for adults and children with Down syndrome, their families, and support professionals.

Join us on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 between 10:30am and 2:00 pm for an awareness walk and picnic in Campbell River.

For the awareness walk, we are raising funds for the Canadian Down Syndrome Society. You can help raise funds by registering with our team (Vancouver Island Down Syndrome Society) closer to the time.

Each year we offer Awareness Walk T-shirts. 

10:30 am   Check in and T-shirt pick up
11:00am    Awareness Walk begins
12:00pm.   Family/friends picnic.

Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
We will have a 50/50 draw straight after lunch so bring cash for the draw.
